Dear Spirited Sister, You may have never known how much you have impacted my life, But I wanted you to know on this day- Now is the time to proclaim it to the world. I know that there have been times that you've stepped beyond those areas and done things differently and accepted different ways of doing things just for me. You have loved me unconditionally without expected return. You have always seen me for what God was molding me to become. You have brought laughter and smiles To the deepest part of my soul Just by your presence. I know that you don't see yourself this way And may wonder whom I speak of For you are a Spirited Sister- A special woman Who has touched the lives of many people... I speak the sentiments of their hearts as well. Much has been required of you But you continue to give whole-heartedly. Much will be given to you Because of God's favor. When others may have given up on me Or discarded me because of my rough edges, You stayed and helped To polish me into The vessel that I have become. When I didn't have a mind to pray for myself, You kept your face to the ground and cried before the Lord as if I was your own child or the need for God to hasten was your own. Your words of wisdom and encouragement have helped me to "be still" and see the salvation of the Lord be manifested… For you are a Spirited Sister- A woman whose beauty radiates from the inside out. Your total being is an outward manifestation of God's glory. Much has been placed upon your shoulders but God's power has sustained you and that power will continue to be a constant force in your life. I am blessed because you are a part of my life. I am more of a real woman because of your positive influence and "realness". I am a better servant because of the example, which you continue to place before me. For you are a Spirited Sister-an angel sent from on high to dwell among us.
